BMW M5 RACE EDITION HAMANN

Exterior An exterior of the car was introduced to the publicity in two colors (mat black and blue). The most radical change on the bodywork of M5 is its general broadening – so called Wide Body. A front bumper is connected with a mask (typical for the BMW cars). The bigger hole for an air intake to the cooler and smaller holes for disc brakes, are situated in the bottom part of the bumper. The broadening (wide body) is used to the off-take of a warmed air from front brakes and for the intake to the rear ones.

The rear bumper is redesigned to the whole shape of a BMW car. A diffuser (prevents air turbulences behind the car) is situated in a bottom part of the bumper. Four oval 76mm Duplex exhaust tips are installed at the side. There are sensors on both bumpers which help to park better. Also we can find decent but sporting spoiler on the trunk door. There is also a spoiler in the window which is optically extending the roof. Hamman also changed stock mirrors to the carbon ones with the blinkers. Also stock wheels replacement is one of the exterior changes. They are black alloy wheel discs with dimensions 9x21” in the front (255/30 tires) and 10,5x21” in the
rear (295/25 tires)

Interior
The interior is in the red-black style. There is a red colored carbon is used on the steering wheel, a center of the console and other parts.

The seats are coated with a quality leather (also in red and black). They are also heated and ventilated. Stock pedals was removed and replaced for the sporting Hamman pedals.

Performance tuning: The performance tuning: The 5 liters, 10 cylinders engine hidden under the red carbon cover was improved by the HM/M+60 sporting kit (a re-programming of the control unit, a removal of the limiter, an air filter, a catalyzer ). This has caused an increasing of the performance from 507hp to 537hp (347kW).

The modification of the heads of cylinder and the exhaust manifold has increased the performance to 567 hp (417kW). A maximum torque is about 533Nm and the top speed is 320kmph. That’s nice, isn’t it?

Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG

A luxurious car that will push you back in your seat. It has got a powerful 6.3L V8 engine at 451 hp. The starting price for this model is around $100,000. That may seem like a lot of money for this type of engine, but you also get luxury, which is something that you do not get in many sports cars.
The Mercedes C63 AMG is made to go fast, hence the powerful engine. On a stock engine, you can hit 0 - 60MP in about 4.5 seconds and top out at 155 MPH. So when you are driving this beautiful peace of machinery on the street, you will know that you have a car that can compete with the sports cars that you always see on the street.
Now, you must remember that this is a sports car, which means that if you are looking for a nice commuter car, you may want to look at another car. The Mercedes comes stock with a V8 engine, which means that it sucks up a lot of gas. From tests, you are going to average about 12 miles in the city, then another 19 miles on the highway. The tank capacity on the C63 can hold up to 16.3 gallons, so if you do the math you are probably going to get about 250 miles on a tank of gas.
Do no forget however, since this is a sports car, you have the ability to get your C63 with a manual transmission, which is great for getting more gas mileage. Then, if you are looking to go fast, you should absolutely get a manual transmission, since you can control the RPM's, you will get the most power out of your car when you need it.
Now lets talk about the luxury of the car; because you have to remember, this is a Mercedes-Benz, and they are known for having very luxurious cars. You get a nice leather and chrome interior. When you first sit in the car, you will probably notice the comfortable racing bucket seats, that will just lock you into place. Then you have the wheel, which has many pre-programmed buttons to make your driving experience a safe one. This car is very luxurious, and once you sit in one of these you are going to be as most comfortable as you possibly can.

AC Schnitzer BMW Z4 M Coupe

There are BMW owners, and then there are seriously performance minded BMW owners. Those with an increased appreciation for speed and craftsmanship often choose to buy M-Series cars, a range known for their serious performance abilities. However, sometimes the BMW factory tuning simply isn't enough, and there are a select few who choose to venture even further into the realm of high-end custom tuning.

The 2007 AC Schnitzer BMW Z4 M Coupe is a serious car for those who simply don't feel the M-Series modifications go far enough. Since this is a tuning company, you can elect to purchase individual parts to your liking or buy the complete set for a full AC Schnitzer tuner vehicle.

First up, the aerodynamics package gives the car a much more serious, race-bred look. Carbon fiber front spoiler elements can be joined to the stock front bumper with aluminum supports, effectively creating the look of a new front bumper. A side skirt package and rear diffuser complete the ground effects, but there are also less obvious improvements available, including modified side grilles, a small roof wing, and a chrome front grille. Since we're talking about the coupe version, there's also a three-piece rear wing for those who want the entire AC Schnitzer aero package, and it's not available for the roadster (it has its own less extreme wing).

There are a plethora of parts available for increased performance. You can have a short shift kit installed for faster shifts, a high performance braking system, and there are also a few different options for exhaust tips and silencers. For the suspension, there are various springs and shocks that can be installed, a special sway bar set, and a "Racing" aluminum strut brace.

For a performance look on the inside, the interior can be fitted with AC Schnitzer racing seats, carbon fiber pedals with a matching dead pedal, a new shift knob and hand brake handle, and a carbon fiber and aluminum trim package. The aluminum bits come in a silver or black anodized finish. There is also a matching steering wheel that can be installed without losing airbag functionality. The look is finished off with AC Schnitzer embossed floor mats.

The whole package is completed with AC Schnitzer wheels. You can purchase Type II, Type III, Type IV and Type V styles in 17", 18", 19" and 20" versions. However, the official show car (called the Profile) was seen with 20" forged alloy AC Schnitzer Type V wheels, so it's safe to assume that customers looking for the "official" look from the press photos will opt for this style. They come in 9.0J x 20" for the front and 10.0J x 20" for the rear. The show car was featured with 235/30 ZR 20 tires for the front and 295/25 ZR 20 tires for the rear, but it's been suggested that customers opt for 245/30 ZR 20 and 285/25 ZR 20 sizes for properly balanced handling.

B&B Audi TTS Power Sportscoupe

Well-respected Audi tuner B&B is now offering a Stage-3 conversion for the new 2009 Audi TT, the 2009 B&B Audi TTS Power Sportscoupe, sold as a complete car and incorporating the company's top new sports car performance technologies. As a longtime Audi tuner, B&B has offered aftermarket options for Audi's full line, ranging from aero kits to turbochargers and exhaust systems.

Only more recently did B&B make the jump, like many German car tuners such as RUF and AC Schnitzer, and offer tuned sports cars in complete packages, ready to drive turnkey off the lot.

The styling is rather strange, though the TTS Power Sportscoupe is certainly eye-catching. Think of the offspring of the new Audi R8 supercar and a regular old Audi TT, and you should have an idea of what B&B is going for with the TTS Power Sportscoupe. In its own way, though B&B's TTS is quite eyecatching. Those not in the know might even mistake it for an Audi R8.

One shortcoming of Audi's award-winning TT line is a lack of serious horsepower and enthusiast driving dynamics. While the 2009 Audi TT is bold and beautiful, and certainly capable, you probably won't see too many on weekend track days.

B&B has addressed nearly every aspect of the Audi TT's performance in the TTS Power Sportscoupe, and with a sub-5 second 0-62 mph and a top speed of 174 mph, the culmination of B&B's skill as a German sports car tuner should appeal to any auto enthusiast.

B&B Audi TTS Power Sportscoupe up to 362hp

[B&B Press Release]

The Siegen-based Audi expert B&B perfects the actual version of the TT. Performance values, which normally are preserved by high class sports cars, can be reached in 3 different stages (306, 324 and 362 hp). The acceleration duration 0-100km/h is lowered to an enormous value of 4.6 seconds in the final stage - while maximum velocity level is on 280km/h. To reach these performance values, B&B mounts a special turbo loader, a sport exhaust system with a special pre exhaust system and a high performance sports catalyst as well as an electrical tuning, perfectly harmonizing with these components.

Additional to this, the air intake system and air cooling system gets prepared and replaced. To keep oil temperature on the right level, B&B offers a special slim-line oil cooling system, to meet the tuned engine's requirements perfectly.

To adjust the coupe's optics and "overtake-prestige" to the driving performance, B&B mounts an aerodynamic body kit in R8-style, which leads to sensations - perfect harmony of TTS' appearance and power.

B&B sport springs to lower the car's height by upto 40mm which also reduce its declination, are also available. A special Chassis, adjustable in height, pull and push stages, which allows higher turning speed is also orderable.

A delay to meet the risen driving, the B&B 8-stroke high quality breaking system can be ordered, that allows the TTS driver having a calming and safe feeling while driving. Exclusive Wheel sets in 19" and 20" finish the "Power-Audi's" appearance.

Car Roof Racks

Nowadays it’s normal to see a car that has a roof rack on top. Gone are the days when you can only put all your travel belongings on the trunk of the car. Looking at this kind of set up, the inspiration may have originated in the times of the rajahs when elephants had similar travel racks on top of them. Normally some items like surfboards or huge luggage don’t fit in the boot of the car.
Roof racks are ideal for campers and sports enthusiasts because the design is made to fit bikes, kayaks, surf boards, skis, and other sporting gear. The design is such that it sits squat on the roof of the car and comes with high tensile straps that securely fasten your luggage to the rack. By centering the position of the rack squarely, the center of gravity of the car is maintained keeping it grounded and stable even in long distances.
It is definitely a great way to look stylish and at the same time organized so that even big, bulky items fit.

What is a heater core?

A heater core works in cooperation with the engine’s cooling system. Now, the cooling system is in charge of removing the heat from the engine. It sends this anti-freeze to the radiator when it will be cooled again be the rushing outside air. When it is cooled, it is sent to the engine. The heater core can be thought of as a mini radiator located inside the dashboard. So the anti-freeze circulates throughout the engine, radiator and heater core.
If you turn on the heater, a door opens in the heater core area. The blower, or also known as the a/c fan, will blow air from the heater core into the dashboard until it reaches the passenger compartment. If you find a leak on your passenger floorboard under the carpet, it means that your heater core leaked anti-freeze. Other signs of leakage are sweet odor in the car and a greasy film on the inside of the windows.
You are probably wondering what causes this. Well, the most common cause is rusting. When you don’t flush your cooling system regularly, rust can build up. Anti-freeze in the cooling system can cause rust to build up. So it is highly recommended that you flush and replace it periodically to make sure your system is working. It can also help you avoid those expensive repairs. If you have rusty anti-freeze, it could mean that you have a coolant leak in your cooling system so air is entering the system. It can be caused by leaky radiator, heater core, water pump or radiator hose. The rust can damage the radiator and other internal engine parts too.
To stop the anti-freeze from leaking on the floorboard, you can just replace the defective heater core, as recommended by most mechanics. In case you want something temporary, you can use a can of radiator stop leak additive and see if it can fix the hole. In more extreme measures, you can just cut off the flow of anti-freeze to the heater core. There are two heater hoses connected to the heater core. You can cut or block these with a hose clamp, or you can insert a small hose splice between them to create a loop so they avoid the heater core. Blocking it is useful in summer time as a temporary repair. But if you have the budget for repairs, it is advised to go to a mechanic.

How to Make a Survival Car Heater

During those cold winter months, you may become snowbound for several days without help from the outside. It is in those times that you will need to heat your car with few resources. So having a car survival heater is really handy. Or you could have it just to be in the safe side. You never know what can happen during those long drives in the cold weather.
Here is how you can make your own survival heater.
You have to gather the following materials:
roll of unscented
Half a dozen bottles of unscented 70% to 91% isopropyl alcohol
empty metal can that is a little taller than the toilet paper roll
larger metal can such as a 3-pound coffee or large popcorn container
Aluminum pan or pot a little wider than the top of the larger can
The can that you will use must be metal, it would be better if it is not painted and without the outer paper. The preferable size is that of a one pound coffee can or a 30 ounce fruit can so it can hold the full roll of toilet paper as is. Next thing you do is remove the cardboard core of the toilet paper roll. Take off enough sheets so that it fits into the can when pushed hard. Make sure there is no space around it and it is completely below the rim of the can.
Place the can with the toilet paper inside the larger can. Place your car heater in an area in your car which is has free space 18 inches all around. When you have found the right spot, you now add a few ounces of isopropyl alcohol, but not the whole thing, on the toilet paper. You will see that the paper absorbed the liquid.
All you have to do now is light your survival car heater. You have to open your window a little bit so some fresh air can come in. When you’ve done that, carefully light the toilet paper with a match or lighter. Once you lighted it, a small flame appears that will burn slowly and warm enough for your car. If you feel that the car is warm enough, place the aluminum pan over the can to conserve your fuel. When you start to feel cold, just add more alcohol to the car survival heater and light it again.

Is your car heater blowing out cold air?

Before you can determine the problem, you must first know how your car heater works. Remember that the part that transfers heat into the passenger compartment is the heater core. This can be thought of as a mini radiator. The coolant flows through the heater core while the fan, also known as the blower, blows air through the heater core’s fins. When the air blows through these fins, it is heated and that heated air warms the passenger apartment.
Now we can check why your car heater is blowing cold air. You can start by checking the coolant. This coolant is the substance that warms the heater core. Therefore, if the coolant is low, it is possible that that may not be enough to warm the air that blows to the passenger compartment. If you’re wondering, why can’t your temperature gauge just warn you about the low coolant, it is simply because the temperature outside is cold so low coolant may not affect the operating temperature of your engine. Once the coolant is full, put the engine at normal operating temperature. Feel the heater hoses that go through the firewall; they both should be hot to the touch.
If only one is hot, this means that there is a blockage in the heater core or there is air trapped in the heater core. Use a coolant funnel to purge the air from the cooling system. If the coolant is really brown, it has been neglected. If “stop leak” has been used at some point, the heater core could be blocked up. This blockage can be removed by flushing the heater core through the heater hoses using a garden hose with a sprayer.
If neither of them is hot to the touch, there could be a malfunctioning heat control valve. Check for the heat control valve by following the heater hoses back to the engine. There might be a broken vacuum line so the valve cannot operate. And maybe you by-passed the heater core because of a leak, so you looped the heater hoses.

How to Maintain Your Car Heater

Are you going to perform some maintenance on your car heater? Are you trying to repair your car heater?
First of all you need to check if your car heater is still working…
Winter is a busy time for car owners. There are a lot of things to change and check before you can ride out again. You’d probably put it in your to-do list, but you always tend to end up doing other s chores first. You haven’t checked your car heater for a long time, so you should really get yourself to do it. Here are some basic instructions for doing that.
One sign you might notice if your car heater is no longer working is the frost or ice building inside your car after you start it and about time your heater kicked in. don’t worry here are some few things you can check and correct without the help of mechanics. It is especially important every time winter comes knocking about.
First, you need to transfer your car to a heated garage. Take the car for a drive until the engine and the heater warm up. To check its heat output, it is advised to set the heat on high and set the blower at medium or higher. You can monitor the heat output by inserting thermometers in the driver and passenger side vents.. Somewhere between 115 degrees and 120 degrees is usually an acceptable temperature, but it is also possible to have a higher reading. If your results are as mentioned you have successfully checked your car heater, but if not, please keep reading.
You owner’s manual and the manufacturer’s website are great resources to help you quickly and precisely determine the problem and optimize heat. If the answer is not there, you have to pop the hood.
Just staring at your heater will probably be in vain, so we start at the coolant vents. Make sure that the coolant level in the reservoir matches the manufacturer’s specifications. Even though this is not the problem, proper coolant level will help your heater run warmer. Also make sure that your coolant is clean. You should replace it regularly so it will always be in good shape. Always check your coolant temperature whenever you can.
If the temperature is still too cool, check the temperature do or motor to make sure it is working. It is usually located under the dashboard when you remove the panel. If it does not seem to work, it is better to replace this.
If all these fails, call a mechanic to make sure.

Tips on Buying a Portable Car Heater

Having a portable car heater is very useful, especially if your vehicle takes some time to warm up. If you still don’t have one and you plan to buy one any time now, there are some things you should know. Some of these include power cord, adjustability, and safety. You can always use some help in deciding which the best one for you is. So, here are some tips for buying your own portable car heater.
The first and most important thing is safety. It is the one thing you always have to consider when buying anything.. The design you are looking for is one with a cabinet that remains cold even while the heater is in use. It is also advisable to look for a portable car heater that has an automatic safety limit switch.
Next thing to consider in buying a portable car heater is the power cord. You should check the length of the power cord to make sure that it is long enough to reach into the back seat of your car. Thus, you should probably want a portable car heater that is at least six feet long.
You should also consider the adjustability of the portable car heater you are about to buy. There are models that can be adjusted 45 degrees up and down. There are also models that can be adjusted 90 degrees to the left or right. This is more practical since they won’t have to be focused on one area only and all the passengers can feel the warmth.
If you would like to solve your defrosting problems, look for a portable car heater that can do that. Many car owners buy car heaters to help them defrost their windows in the morning. To be able to do this, look for a portable car heater that attaches easily to your back window.
The last thing you must consider when buying your portable car heater is temperature. Look for a design that has automatic temperature control. This will allow the heat to spread evenly throughout the car. You should also consider buying a portable car heater that can blow out warm and cool air. If you have this kind, you can use it during winter and summer. It may cost a little bit more than the others, but you get to use it a lot more often.

How To Repair Your Car Heater

Car heaters are really important, especially during those cold winters. If you have encountered some problems with your car’s temperature, it is advised that you check your car heater and radiator. Your car heater works almost like your car radiator. The coolant originating from your engine goes through the heater core, and then the air will be blown through the core and into the car’s passenger compartment.
You may encounter some problems if the heater core becomes plugged. If this is the case, it will require replacement or flushing every now and then. When your engine gets hot, there are two hoses from this to your heater core. These hoses could have leaks at high pressure. You can be able to buy flush kits from some auto shops, but if you’re not up for the cost, you can just use a garden hose to flush your car heater and the car radiator.
The most common in car heater and car radiator problems is low engine coolant level. Because of this, you should always check them before you leave for a long trip. If you have an older car, you may have faulty engine thermostat. If you do, it is better if you could have it changed at a car repair shop.
Make it a habit to check the temperature gauge whenever you enter your car. Make sure it is in the normal range to avoid other problems. You can also check the temperature yourself. Just use the metal case thermometer placed into the filler of the radiator, but only when the engine is cold.
If you still encounter problems with the heater despite the temperature and fluid level, it may come from poor circulation through the heater core. You can test that by keeping the engine running at normal temperature and feeling the heater hoses. The two hoses should have the same temperature. If you felt that their temperature are not the same, you should try replacing them or flushing them.
If you are working on your car heater yourself, always use caution. It could be very hot, so never ever try to work around it while the engine is hot.. It is also practical to use gloves in order to protect your hands from being burned. But you are not that used in fooling around the car, it is better if you let a mechanic do the work.

How A Car Heater Works

Ever wonder how your car heater works? Well, in this article, we will discuss how most car heater works. Car heaters have three main parts: the cooling system, the heater core and the blower fan & duct system. We are going to tackle these three parts in order to understand how a regular car heater works.
The first part is the cooling system.
All internal combustion vehicles come with a cooling system. It consists of a radiator, hoses, coolant and water. The coolant in the block heats up, until it becomes hot enough for the thermostat to open. Once the thermostat opens, the water flows through the radiator. The radiator consists of tubes that make multiple passes and has aluminum fins which cool the passing air. The average water temperature is 200 degrees or maybe higher. This heat is more than enough to heat the whole passenger compartment of a vehicle. This system is pressurized, meaning it raises the boiling point of water, allowing the car or vehicle to run hotter than 200 degrees, without boiling over.
Next part we tackle is the heater core.
The coolant, which we mentioned earlier, also travels toward the firewall of the vehicle through heater hoses. Heater hoses are smaller and thicker than radiator hoses. The coolant is directed into the heater core directly from the water pump of the engine. Then, it passes through the heater core. This heater core is designed like a tine radiator with tubes and fins for cooling. This is usually located behind the firewall and above the area where passengers place their legs. It is a real challenge to repair these, since they are in a hard to get place. Car models which are older than 1980 have more accessible heater cores then today’s latest models. If your heater core needs repair, it is recommended that you ask a skilled mechanic to do the job.
Lastly, we have the blower fan and duct system.
Hot air is created by the coolant in the heater core. This air is then blown through the air duct system of the vehicle by the blower fan. The blower fan, as you can observe in any car, has adjustable speeds to satisfy the needs of the passengers and driver at the time. The end of each duct is located where it enters the passenger compartment. These ends have vents that open and close to let more or less hot air.

VW Golf RSi Tuning by Dahlbäck Racing!

Pictures of this 4th generation Golf are well known among the community. But who’s behind this piece of art? Amazing photos of the vehicle are on many desktops and its creator is called Dahlbäck Racing. This project is four years old, but VW Golf RSi is still sexy and under arms. So let’s take a closer look at this little devil. Everything started in 1998 with a naked framework of Volkswagen Golf IV. The framework obtained a new floor and also other parts were changed. The front and rear part has now a pipe chassis (chrome/molybdenum) and wide fenders from VW Motorsport in Hannover made a place for massive wheels.
The rear axle and shock-absorbers came from Audi RS2 and Sport Quattro. The exhaust system is made from 4,5“ stainless pipe. Its gearbox is from Audi IMSA. Next weight reductions were made on other parts too, that were changed with new parts made of carbon. For example there is a new dashboard, doors, hood or spoilers. Everything now made of carbon fiber. Rear seats were removed and front seats replaced by carbon buckets made by Recaro with 6-points safety belts. Also all windows are made of special plastics called Lexan that is lighter than ordinary glass. 1.8 liter engine is gone and now we can feel the power of 2.1 liter R5 aggregate with two huge intercoolers. So now the engine can produce amazing 600-900 hp (depends on chosen turbo). To make some more space for the engine, guys needed to create an internal pipe chassis. The larger engine did not leave any space for water or oil coolers in the front of the car so these had to be moved to the back with an air intake in the roof. The car is equipped with Alcon brakes with 375 mm front rotors and 355 mm rear rotors. Thanks to the wider kit-car flares, it is possible to use 10x19" rims with Bridgestone 265/30-19 or 12x20" rims with Bridgestone 285/30-20. The overall weight of the car is about 1440 kg. So with this inventory, the VW RSI can reach about 380km/h and 0-100km/h takes only 2,7 seconds. So who want to play a paper-chase with this bullet? But Dahlbäck wants to surprise us with another project. Details are not known. But it should be an extreme Audi. More information will be on this site when they appear.

Hamann Ferrari F430 Black Miracle !

What can be done better on Ferrari F430? Well, this is a car that attracts the attention of many people thanks to its look and technologies, which resemble a racecar. However, HAMANN MOTORSPORT offers for this model a showy design that gives it the image of real racer surpassing the others, which makes other people to notice him. It is a delicacy called “Black Miracle“. What does it encompass: the name itself tells us about the color, which is opaque black with buffed colorful aerodynamical components, the power is greater by 50 horse powers – that means from 490 to 540, integrated wing doors, 20 inch lite discs “Edition Race“. The attitude to this modification was certainly unique. HAMANN covered Black Miracle with a foil with look of primer coat laid before the painting is done and makes the impression that whole body is covered with velvet. This idea comes from automobile sport, where opaque black is applied on the covers of engines, which ensures minimal reflection of sunbeams off the hood. This kind of modification gives Black miracle look of black hole, which absorbs all the radiation. In order to avoid the stuffiness of the car, HAMANN offers body complements according to the wish of customer. More concretely: bright red, orange and yellow. At many Ferrari meetings, this contrast between opaque black and shining complements will look hypnotizing. It will certainly tickle the Ferrari zealot’s eye, or at least it will attract his attention. Nothing similar could be seen on Ferrari F430 until now. The best thing about this is, that the black foil can be removed at any time.
As for the aerodynamics, HAMANN was inspired in automobile sport. Just these parts, used to make the air runaround the car more easily, are present in mentioned vivid colors. In the front, there is a spoiler HAMANN, which gives the car unique sporting look and minimizes lifting force affecting the front axle of the car. From the side view, the wide adhesive wings under the sills are evident. Thanks to these is Black Miracle visually even closer to the ground. And if we look at the back part, we can see other complements resembling real sport car – diffuser and rear spoiler HAMANN improve the pressure on the rear axle. This effect is multiplied by system Venturi Tunnel, which sucks the air from under the car, which results in lower pressure under the car, consequently sticking the car to the road. In addition to these buffed aerodynamical components in three possible colors, Black Miracle’s features include colored rear mirrors and brake calipers. The engine is also covered with colored cover. Then, there are dark body-tint floats, including the windshield and tint is also present on rear lights. The interior of car is all in leather in two colors (their combination is optional) and on the head restraints, there is logo HAMANN. The disc have the same paint as aerodynamic components, only with
Another interesting spot on Black Miracle are wing doors. The manufacturing process of these two components was really in the focus of builders. From the outside, the car looks like one piece, doors are fully integrated in the bodywork and by simple look you cannot recognize their edges.
And now we move to design. Under the hood 540 horse powers are hidden (originally 490) inside an eight-cylinder with volume 4.3 liters, which means 125.6 horse powers/1 liter. HAMANN reached this boost of power using new motronic programming, then by new exhaust piping and also thanks to new sporting steel catalyzer. To make the Black Miracle stay on road and to provide the best pleasure of driving, HAMANN developed special springs. Thanks to this, F430 moved closer to the ground and it is also more agile. Naturally, the inseparable part of each car are wheels. HAMANN offers wheels with three-part 20 inch discs, specially lighten, with marking “Edition Race”. These are at the front axle with dimensions 8.5 x 20 (tires 235/30-20) and in the rear, the dimensions are 12.75 x 20(tires 325/25-20). As for the color, they match the rest of the car. As mentioned, the filling is of the same color as the aerodynamical components and the edge is opaque black. One more thing is worth mentioning – what does it mean lite tire from HAMANN. let’s take for example rear wheel with 12.75 x 20 inches – its weight is just 15.45 kg.

Abarth Fiat Grande Punto S2000 Tuning!

Weight of a car is the biggest coefficient for the acceleration and overall car’s capabilities. The low weight and little turbo engines are back in the business. This year’s Motor show in Geneva was a great opportunity to launch a new big project. It’s a comeback of one of the most prestigious brands in the automotive industry. Its symbol is a scorpion and it’s called Abarth. The Abarth brand was always a symbol for its high performance, competiblity, passion and excitement, and now it’s back with a new bullet to speak to all enthusiasts and lovers of sporting machines. The new innovated Abarth badge includes a symbol of scorpion, their symbol of ravine. The first modification of Fiat Grande Punto in Abarth style could be seen on the Geneva motor show. It’s the first model and next models will come in the future. Before this motor show, Fiat announced only pictures and basic information about the car. A brand new engine in Punto’s line includes turbocharging, so thanks to this feature its volume isn’t an obstacle to achieve great performance and solid fuel economy. The first version of 1.4 T should have 110kW (150hp) or 114kW (155hp) with 98-octan gasoline. Everything is prepared for next improvements so this is a boon to the turbocharged version, compared to the classic 1.4.
Of course, new small turbocharged engine will arrive. A press reminds says that for example new Fiat 600 Abarth from the 70’s had double the performance as its stock version. The stock Fiat 600 had 13 hp at 4000 rpm and its top speed was 85km/h and after some Abarth improvements it had 26hp at 5000rpm and it could speed at 118km/h. Also the styling of the Abarth Grande Punto is different in many ways. The front part has a new big bumper with four different air inlet openings, new Abarth badge instead of Fiat logo. Standard combined headlamps have now a black background and will be made also in the LED version which is nowadays very popular. Fancy white paintwork is enriched with fast red stripes and black hems of fenders, bumpers and sill extensions. Styling of the wheels and whole bodywork is similar to the S2000 version with which Fiat want to achieve success in world rally championships. Grande Punto Abarath will be powerful, ravine, racing car for good money. It will be available in September and I hope that its price will be so nice as a saying is.

Ford iosis X

The newest Ford’s study is called iosis X and it’s a successor of last year’s iosis – an indication of new Mondeo. Sharp and uncompromising shapes of bodywork of this light crossover show possible evolution of this type. The shapes of Kinetic design manifest that the designers are serious. The non-functional, pure design crossbreed of sporting 4-door coupe with off-road is different than its predecessor. It has huge bodywork with high ride height plus quite high rides rear part and electronically controlled door that open against each other – reliable features that show iosis’s qualities A bold design of the exterior can’t be overlooked. The high front part, distinctive clear LED headlamps, openings for cool air, bottom diffuser – this everything is included. And in combination with the smooth side, run boards, skewed side windows and originally placed rearview mirrors with finder lights; it’s really design jewel. Designer’s craftsmanship isn’t only in the front part but also in the massive rear part, where we can notice stylish LED tail lamps and stop lamps, exhaust tips and bottom diffuser. 5-spoked chromed rims with big vented disc brakes and red calipers are top of the milk. The whole ride is covered with a polar white color with many gray and chromed accessories with the Ford’s typical silver stripes. We can talk about the details as transparent roof and floor or other interesting parts, but here, pictures are better than words. The proof that this study is very serious is also the interior. This one includes four sporting seats with independent safety belts, distinctive central console or multifunctional dashboard. Everything has a futuristic, but decent tone. The interior is overstocked with colors and materials. We can find there black leather with orange and piano-white plastics. The whole impression is raised thanks to the orange illumination of the interior and dashboard. So this is Ford iosis X – now it’s the concept, but should be available in 2008.
